Ideathon 2026 Rulebook

1. Overview & theme

Ideathon 2026 is an online idea-pitching competition on Shalyam. Participants propose original ideas using advanced technology for sustainable development (UN SDG-aligned).

2. Registration & fees

All fees are GST-inclusive. Payment confirms your entry and issues an Entry ID.

• Individual — ₹49 (single participant)
• Team — ₹99 (2–4 members, flat fee)
• Institution — ₹199 (private college / organization team)
• Government institution — ₹129 (valid ID proof required)

3. Competition phases

Level 1 — Written idea (max 2,000 words): problem, solution, technology, sustainability impact, feasibility.

Level 2 — 120-second explainer video (MP4 or YouTube/Drive link) for shortlisted teams.

Final — Live online presentation + Q&A before the final jury panel.

4. Key rules

• Multiple teams per college are allowed with distinct ideas.
• Company-sponsored or funded ideas are not eligible.
• Submissions become public record after each round completes.
• Jury decisions are final once results publish.
